What's the latest at Fork-Co USA...?
FORK-CO USA GUARANTEES LEVEL FORK TIPS
Customers are telling us stories of buying forks that are not level at the tips. They
obtain the forks from sellers who apparently get the forks in bulk from brokers overseas.
One customer said he bought about a dozen forks and out of the bunch he "could not find
two the same" level at the tips. And, he said, the seller would not take them back or provide any relief.
He then ordered from another seller and the same problem happened with the same results.
Probably, they were sourced from the same broker-types.
Fork-Co USA guarantees that its forks are tip-level. We tie them with plastic tie straps
therough the latches of matched pairs and stamp ID numbers into the top of the backs of matched pairs. Every fork
is mounted and tested at the ZYatWork factory.
Forks sold by Fork-Co USA are level to ISO standards. Or your money back.

CASCADE PURSUES PATENT INFRINGERS: US Patent No. 5,897,288
July 6, 2009
According to a letter issued by its attorneys, Cascade Corporation has initiated
a hunt for those who are infringing on its US patent of a fork hanger and latch pin assembly. "Cascade has identified
a number of manufacturers in China that are manufacturing forks which appear to infringe on the '288 patent", the letter says,
in part. These are companies that make forks for anyone and sell them through Chinese boiler room type brokerage
fronts. Cascade's attorneys apparently have informed several US importers, buyers and re-sellers of the infringing
forks that they could be held liable for patent infringement. The hunt reaches beyond forks and will affect
importers and re-sellers of hook kits and latch kits of the same design. The letter states that US patent law "provides that
making, using, selling and offering to sell a patented device, and importation of a patented device...constitute patent
infringement."
According to the law, Cascade can bring action against
re-sellers at any trade level. They may also act against the users of these forks. That means all forklift dealers who
have bought the infringing-design fork from Chinese exporters or US importers at any time, or who may currently hold
the forks in stock for sale, could be subject to litigation.
FORK-CO SELLS ONLY ZYatWORK FORKS. WE DO NOT INFRINGE.

Trading Point LLC and Fork-Co USA Sales LLC join in a mutual cooperation agreement.
An agreement has been reached between Trading Point Products and Fork-Co USA, both of Alvin,
TX to cooperate in logistics and marketing of each other's product lines. Fork-Co, previously conducting business
as a forklift fork supplier, will now be able to promote and sell the Trading Point Products attachment and accessory
lines. Reciprocally, Trading Point will have direct access to and be allowed to market the fork line of Fork-Co
USA.
The companies plan to merge inventory into one single logistics support unit. This move reduces
overhead and results in consistent product quality and inventory management processes.
February, 2009
New warehouse acquisition benefits suppliers and customers.
In February, 2009, Trading Point Products and Fork-Co USA completed a
move of their inventories to a newly acquired warehouse and office complex located at 19113 Amoco Drive South,
Alvin, TX 77511. This move was in accordance with the mutual cooperation agreement reached by the companies in
January this year.
The facility, located on 2.5 acres, was formerly a R&D facility for a chemical
company. Offices had to be constructed and the warehouse/plant facility had to be demoed and restructured to accomodate
the inventory and shipping/receiving operations. This work was fully completed in early March of this year.
"The building offers column-free 18 foot interior stacking height, dock
level loading and easy yard access," said C. A. Wilder, Trading Point's president. Wilder continued to say the
product appearance and overall sale-ability has been improved greatly. "we are very proud of our shipped products,"
said Wilder.
