ODDS AND ENDS...
1. Check forks for wear and tear. Maximum allowable wear (the area most susceptible to abrasion is
under the heel) is 10% of the original thickness. Measure the thickness of the back for comparison.
2. Fork-Co's forks are 38% thicker through the heel bend than the specified thickness dimension of the fork.
This exceeds any other on the market. Only by forging can this thickness be assured.
3. Fork-Co forks are capacity stamped on the side wall of the back. This stamp tells the batch date, materials,
maker and the capacity. Each fork is stamped with country of origin.
4. Never handle loads with a single fork.
5. Never lift loads or raise the carriage unless the forks are fully secured top and bottom to the carriage bars.
Be sure the fork latches are seated in their notches.
6. Fork life can be extended by maintaining proper lift chain adjustment. Dragging forks on concrete will
accelerate the abrasion.
7. Every Fork-Co fork by ZYatWork is magnetic-powder tested to detect stress cracks. The inside radius of
the heel bend is sanded smooth and detection with black light insures a quality product ships.
